I just started on my Haunted House today - better late than never!! I have so many little things to decorate the house with, I figured it would be best to get going with the house. I will take some pics along the way and share with you and encourage me to continue on!!

Wow!! It has been a month since I last posted. Over the past month I have been working on a little girl for a "Back to School" scene I have in my head. My youngest (2) just started PK this year and I wanted to make a doll that resembles her - all the way down to her uniform. I had trouble getting the pattern scanned/reduced/printed so I am a little behind on her right now. But here is a picture to show you her progress thus far. Her right arm is not permanently attached right now, nor it is the correct length. I cannot remember right now why I did that to her, but I am sure it will come back to me when I am dressing her. This is the Chloe mold by Cynthia Howe. She has the cutest little pout perfect for the first day of school!!!

Tomorrow Fantasy Art Guild (www.fantasyartguild.com) is offering a class on making Mermaid dolls. It should be a lot of fun!! The picture is the sample done by Faith who is offering the class.

I have never made a mermaid before. I think since my daughter is into Dora the Explorer and her favorite episodes right now have to do with mermaids, I may make a Dora themed mermaid. We will see how that goes. I think I have the right color Living Doll polymer clay skin tone to use and from there it is all paints.

Well today I finished my Sabella doll. This was begun at a class I took in Orlando at Ron's Miniature Shop. Dana of MiniatureArt gave the class. It was a lot of fun!!! I also made the background/roombox behind her today. Since I am in the mood I may also go get another doll and assemble her to get ready for my Storybook project due in a couple of months!!!

Well today I have decided what my next couple of projects will be. So hopefully I will be able to pull some pictures together and then begin!! I cannot wait. I have two weeks off, so we will see how much I can get done in that time.
